Inclement Weather Make-Up Swim Lesson Policy
At Magnolia Coast Swim School, the safety of our participants and instructors is our toppriority. We understand that weather conditions can be unpredictable, and we are committed to ensuring that all lessons are conducted in a safe environment. Below is our policy regarding swim lesson cancellations due to bad weather and the procedure for arranging make-up lessons.
Criteria for Lesson Cancellation
A swim lesson will be canceled if there is thunder or lightning detected within 15 miles of the Magnolia Coast Swim School Pool. This policy is in place to ensure the safety of all participants and staff.
Notification of Cancellation
In the event of a cancellation due to bad weather, participants will be notified as soon as possible. Notifications will be sent via email and/or text message using the contact information provided during registration. Please ensure that your contact details are up-to- date to receive timely notifications.
Arranging a Make-Up Lesson
- Eligibility: All participants whose lessons are canceled due to bad weather are eligible for a make-up lesson at no additional cost.
- Scheduling: Make-up lessons will be scheduled at a time that is convenient for both the participant and the instructor. Our staff will work closely with you to find a suitable time slot that fits your schedule.
- Contact Us: To arrange a make-up lesson, please contact the Magnolia Coast Swim School staff or your assigned Instructor. You can reach us via phone or email, and our staff will assist you in scheduling your make-up session.
Additional Information
- No Extra Payment: There will be no additional charge for make-up lessons scheduled due
to weather-related cancellations. - Rescheduling Flexibility: We strive to offer flexible rescheduling options to accommodate
your needs and ensure you do not miss out on your swimming education.
